Time flies and the grass and rabbit from my August post got glaze fired and became evergreen. They are my preserves for a long winter, a little piece of summer on my shelf.
A glaze flowed down the grass while firing and this resulted in a dark green area at the bottom. I like this unexpected addition – it reminds me of soil and the grass does not look so even.
I like the glossy surface of a green glaze, it is very responsive to light changes. When I took photos in direct sunlight the colour of the grass had yellow shades, like if the sunlight was hiding in it together with the rabbit.
